Mehmet Cengiz Bozkurt (born December 24, 1965) is a Turkish actor. He is best known for the role of Erdal Bakkal in the popular surreal comedy series "Leyla and Mecnun". A graduate of Ankara Atatürk Lisesi, in 1984 he enrolled at Middle East Technical University in the Physics Department, but in 1990 he changed his major to stage acting. He then moved to England, where he lived for 14 years.

In 1996 he graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London with a degree in "Media and Communications". For a time he shot documentaries for several channels and directed short films. He returned to acting with the support of Mehmet Ergen and worked at the "Arcola" theater. After returning to Turkey, he continued his career, appearing in various films and TV series.
