Chris O'Donnell (born June 26, 1970) is an American actor. He is the youngest child in the family, with four sisters and two brothers. He first began working as a model at thirteen and continued until sixteen, when he started appearing in commercials. At seventeen, he was about to give up acting and modeling, but was invited to audition for his first film, Men Don't Leave (1990).

He didn't want to go to the audition, but his mother bribed him by promising to buy him a new car if he went, and he got the role. Since then, Chris has appeared in several major films, including Fried Green Tomatoes (1991), Scent of a Woman (1992), Mad Love (1995), Vertical Limit (2000), and Kinsey (2004).
