Biography

Claire Forlani was born in London. Her mother, an Englishwoman, was fond of painting, while her Italian father was then producing small British pop groups. At the time of her birth, he worked as a manager in show business.

From early childhood, Claire dreamed of becoming an actress and knew she had the talent. She took part in Christmas productions at several theatres. One advertising producer working for the BBC noticed the unusually beautiful and gifted child and suggested that Claire's parents sign a contract for their daughter to appear in commercials. But Claire Forlani's parents felt this could have negative consequences for the child's psyche.

At the age of 11, Claire's parents sent her to the London School of Arts, where she studied acting and took dance lessons for six years. During this time, she managed to take part in several theatrical productions. The most notable of these were the ballet "The Nutcracker" and "Orpheus in the Underworld".
