At the age of 5, Denis was sent to a music school, but he quickly got bored there. Later he began studying at a theater studio at the local Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren. At the age of 7, he played in his first performance - it was the role of the Beetle in "Thumbelina". He liked the acting craft. In 2019, he graduated from VGIK, the acting and directing workshop of Sergei Solovyov. Among his theatrical works: "Princess Mary"; "Fro"; "The Cherry Orchard". The actor performed a number of stunts in the film himself; he recalled: "There was no safety net and there was nothing at all. There was a car behind which I was hiding, and another car drove out from behind it at high speed and sort of went around me. And there was none of the technical equipment. Everything depended on the person sitting in the car. It was scary, because I really jumped out of the car, it was driving at me and at the most dangerous moment it was supposed to swerve. Vanya is a lover of a large number of takes. On average there were about 17 of them. Maybe I jumped about 17 times."
