Denny Laine (born Brian Frederick Hines, October 29, 1944) is an English musician, singer, and songwriter, known as a founder of two major rock bands: The Moody Blues, in which he played from 1964 to 1966, and Wings, in which he played from 1971 to 1981. Over a sixty-year career, Laine has worked with a wide variety of artists and bands and continues to record and perform as a solo artist. In 2018, Laine was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Moody Blues.

During his time in Wings, he co-wrote the song Mull of Kintyre with Paul McCartney.
