Biography

Edward John Speleers (born 7 April 1988) is an English actor. He is best known for playing the lead role in the 2006 film Eragon, the antagonist Stephen Bonnet in the TV series Outlander, and Jimmy Kent in the TV series Downton Abbey. He also appeared as Rhys Montrose in the fourth season of the series You (2023) and as Jack Crusher in the third season of the series Star Trek: Picard (2023).
