Edoardo Leo (born 21 April 1972) is an Italian actor, director and screenwriter. Born in Rome, Leo, a graduate in literature and philosophy from Sapienza University of Rome, began attending acting courses at a young age and made his professional debut in 1995 in the TV film "The Stolen Moon". His breakthrough came in 2003 with the role of Marcello in the TV series "A Doctor in the Family". In 2009 Leo made his debut as a screenwriter and director with the road movie "18 Years Later", which brought him several awards at international film festivals, a David di Donatello nomination for Best New Director and a Silver Ribbon nomination in the same category.

In 2014 he received the Nino Manfredi Prize at the Silver Ribbon ceremony. His 2015 film "Legendary Giulia and Other Miracles" received the David di Donatello Youth Award and the Silver Ribbon for Best Comedy Film.
