Genevieve Lemon is an Australian actress who has appeared in a number of soap operas — as Zelda Baker in "The Young Doctors," Marlene "Rabbit" Warren in "Prisoner," and Brenda Riley in "Neighbours." She displayed her comedic and vocal talents in the television revue "Three Men and a Piano."

Lemon also appeared in a number of films directed by Jane Campion — "Sweetie," "The Piano," and "Holy Smoke." She performed in the theatrical production "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert — The Musical" as Shirley, the bartender and owner of the Broken Hill hotel. Her first CD with her band is called "Angels in the City." It is a live recording of a concert she gave at the Sydney Opera House studio as part of the "Singing around the House" series.

Genevieve Lemon currently performs on the stage of London's Victoria Palace Theatre, playing Mrs. Wilkinson in the musical "Billy Elliot," a role she previously played in Sydney and then in Melbourne. On January 21, 2008 she received the award for Best Female Role in a Musical at the 2007 Sydney Theatre Awards. Lemon received the 2008 Helpmann Award for Best Female Role in a Musical for her role in the musical "Billy Elliot." Lemon has worked extensively with a number of major state theatre companies in Australia.

Lemon began her career with the amateur theatre company The Rocks Players, based in Leichhardt.
