Jenna Lee Dewan (born December 3, 1980) is an American actress and dancer. She began her career as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, later working with artists such as Christina Aguilera, Pink, and Missy Elliott. She is known for her role as Nora Clark in the 2006 film Step Up. She also appeared in the short-lived NBC series The Playboy Club and had a recurring role in the FX series American Horror Story: Asylum. She played Freya Beauchamp in the Lifetime series Witches of East End, Lucy Lane in The CW series Supergirl and its spin-off Superman & Lois, and Joanna in the Netflix series Soundtrack. Dewan hosted the reality shows World of Dance and Flirty Dancing and was a judge on the show Dance with Me. She currently plays Bailey in the ABC series The Rookie. She also had a recurring role in the FOX medical drama The Resident.

Dewan was born in Hartford, Connecticut, to Nancy Bursch Smith (née Bursch) and Darryl Dewan, who was a running back for the Notre Dame football team in 1972. Her father is of Lebanese and Polish descent, and her mother has German and English roots. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother married Claude Brooks Smith. While attending Grapevine High School in Grapevine, Texas, Dewan was a cheerleader for the university team. She graduated in 1999 and was elected prom queen in her final year. She studied at the University of Southern California and was a member of the California Gamma chapter of Pi Beta Phi.
