In 2019, Li Xueqin attracted widespread attention by recording videos with Wu Yifan, Guo Ailun, Li Yanhong, and Yang Ming, to which they responded. Internet users called this "koi star chasing." In 2020, the competitive talk show program "Talk Show Conference, Season 3," in which she participated, was broadcast on Tencent Video and ultimately placed fifth in the final.
