Luna Lauren Vélez (born November 2, 1964) is an American actress. She is best known for her television roles: Maria LaGuerta in the Showtime series Dexter, Detective Nina Moreno in the Fox series New York Undercover, Dr. Gloria Nathan in the HBO prison drama Oz, and Elena in the ABC comedy-drama Ugly Betty. She also played Rio Morales in the films Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023).
