American actress, known for her role in the NBC series "The Blacklist."

Boone was born in Michigan but grew up in one of the villages in Florida. In 2005 she graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor's degree, and then continued to study acting with Jane Alexander at the Asolo Repertory Theatre.

Boone first gained recognition for her regular role as an assistant district attorney in the short-lived NBC series "Law & Order: Los Angeles" (2010-11). She also appeared in the films "My Bloody Valentine," "Sex and the City 2," and "Step Up 4," and in 2013 she replaced Jennifer Esposito as a detective in the CBS series "Blue Bloods." Immediately after that, she got the lead female role in the NBC series "The Blacklist."

Megan is in a common-law marriage with artist Dan Estabrook, to whom she has been engaged since January 2016. The couple has a daughter — Caroline Boone Estabrook (born 04/15/2016).
