Biography
Born on October 4, 1988 in Houston, Texas, USA, into the family of a doctor. Her father and mother are of French descent.
She began taking dance lessons at the age of three. As a teenager, she performed in theatrical productions and sang musical numbers at Disneyland.
She graduated from the theater department of Marymount College in Manhattan, New York.
Her big-screen debut was the role of young Laurel in the film "Tennessee" (2008). She is best known for her roles as Nicole in the Oscar-winning drama "Whiplash" (2013) and as Kara Danvers in the DC Universe superhero series.
