Nicholas Goroff is an actor, writer, and activist, born on August 8, 1983 in Beverly, Massachusetts. He grew up mostly in New Hampshire, in the towns of Londonderry and Manchester. After high school and a short stint in the army, he attended college in Manchester, where he studied criminal justice and political science while working as a security guard and cook.

In 2008, after the birth of his daughter, his interest in politics led him to a career as a campaign consultant and field operative in political action committees (PACs) and nonprofits, where he did everything from managing campaigns to field investigations and policy research. After one such research project, where he was tasked with improvising various roles and public speaking engagements to study reactions, he began trying his hand at student and independent films, auditioning for productions in Boston and New York whenever time allowed.

For many years he traveled — both professionally as a political consultant, and later as a union organizer, and privately, "bumming" around the Northeast on buses, in rideshares, and by any means available. It was in 2011, on a trip to New Orleans to visit a friend (and fellow actor), that he first considered trying his hand at acting professionally. Since then he has worked on numerous independent projects throughout New England and in New Orleans.

He now mostly lives in New Hampshire again and continues to act when time and roles allow, spending most of his time writing fiction and journalism.
