   After finishing school, Olesya decided to leave sports and was accepted into the Moscow Art Theatre School-Studio, first as a non-degree student, and later transferred to full-time study; upon completing her studies in 1997, eight theaters immediately made her offers, and she chose the Mayakovsky Theater.

   At the age of four, Olesya began practicing rhythmic gymnastics; over twelve years the girl honed her skills, achieving quite good results – she became a candidate for Master of Sports.

   Olesya was 14 years old when a casting assistant for actors came to their class, selecting girls and boys for the filming of Vladimir Potapov's film "The Mediator"; Olesya very successfully combined sports with studies, showing excellent results everywhere, and therefore was in good standing at school, and it was she whom the teacher recommended for the filming.
