Biography

In 1993, Gennadiy Smirnov graduated from the Saint Petersburg State Academy of Theatre Arts (teacher T.M. Abrosimova). He performed at the Baltiysky Dom Theatre and the Saint Petersburg Drama Theatre named after V.F. Komissarzhevskaya. He hosted the TV program "Morning in the Big City". Since 2006, he has hosted the TV program "Piter: Instructions for Use" (TNT Saint Petersburg channel).
