Rose Reid is an American actress, screenwriter, and producer, born and raised in south Nashville, Tennessee. At 14, she wrote her first screenplay, and later, at 16, she helped produce a short film. She has been passionate about it ever since.

Rose is best known for her lead role in the Roadside Attractions feature film Finding You alongside Vanessa Redgrave, Katherine McNamara, and Judith Hoag. She previously appeared in Surprised by Oxford, The World We Make, The Futurist, A Thousand Tomorrows, and Lifetime's Christmas in Homestead alongside Jana Kramer.

In her free time, Rose is an avid reader and writer and a "closet nerd." She loves horses and has spent her life training and riding them. In addition, Rose actively supports several charities, including the Horse and Man Foundation, The Hands and Feet Project, Good Samaritan Project, and My Lovely Horse Rescue in Ireland.
