Born in New York to a Panamanian father and an English mother. She moved to London early, where she began studying at LAMDA and attended Queen's Gate School in South Kensington. At fourteen she moved to Miami, where she studied at the New World School of the Arts, and then at the University of California, Los Angeles. After graduating from UCLA, she got a supporting role in the Lifetime film Sugar Daddies and the lead role in Anna Biller's feature film The Love Witch.
