Sharon Horgan is an Irish actress, writer, director and producer. She is best known for the comedy series Pulling (2006) and Catastrophe (2015), in which she starred and co-wrote. In 2016 she created the series Divorce for American television, and a year later co-created the series Motherland for BBC2.

In 2018 she appeared in the film Night Game. Most recently she appeared in the films Military Wives and Everybody's Talking About Jamie, and on television plays Aisling Bea's sister in the sitcom Up.
