Sheryl Lee (born April 22, 1967) is an American actress. She gained international attention for her roles as Laura Palmer and Maddy Ferguson in the cult 1990 television series Twin Peaks and in the 1992 film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. She is also known for her role as photographer Astrid Kirchherr in the film Backbeat (1994) and for roles in the films Vampires (1998) and Winter's Bone (2010), as well as roles in the television series L.A.
