Tamer Hosny Sharif Abbas Farghali (born August 16, 1977), known by his stage name Tamer Hosny, is a singer, songwriter, composer, actor, screenwriter, and director of Egyptian music videos. He began his artistic career in 2002 with a joint album with Sherine Abdel Wahab titled Free Mix 3, then in 2004 released his first studio album titled Love. He has also appeared in several films and series, with his first appearance in 2003 in the film "Halab Hob". In 2011, he directed his first TV series titled "Adam".

Over the years, Hosny has managed to earn many titles and won international awards, such as: the Best African Artist Award at the African Music Award 2010. He also received the "Legend of the Century" award for being a versatile artist, from the Beige Apple Music Award.
