Tara Emad is an Egyptian actress and model, born in Cairo in 1993 to an Egyptian father and a Yugoslav mother. She began her career at the age of 4, when she appeared in a number of commercials. At 14, she began working as a fashion model. In 2010, when she was 17, she took part in the Miss Teen World beauty pageant, which was held that year in Brazil. She returned to Egypt with the title of Miss Africa and became first runner-up in the Miss Teen World pageant.

After school, Tara enrolled in the Faculty of Business Administration at the American University in Cairo and attended acting workshops with the actor Ahmed Kamal and online with American organizations. Her first acting experience was in 2011 in the TV series El-Gamaa (The University), directed by Hany Khalifa, where she acted alongside other young actors. In 2012 she appeared in the series Zay El-Woroud (Like Roses), directed by Saad Hendawy.
