Yumarie Morales, who has Panamanian and Puerto Rican roots, has always been at the intersection of American culture and traditional Latin American values. As an "Army brat," she had the opportunity to live and travel around the world, accumulating experience for what ultimately became her true creative expression—acting. A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, she promised her mother that she would secure a backup plan; therefore, while earning a double major in theater arts and Spanish literature, she also studied communications as an additional discipline.

Yumarie currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California, and she can often be seen in commercial breaks. Although working in commercials has been a privilege, she hopes that the connections she has made in television and film will continue to open the way for her to perform for a wider audience, while demonstrating a key message: representation matters.
