Filming began in early February 2020, but on March 17 the coronavirus pandemic interrupted the shoot. Filming resumed 5 months later, on August 14, 2020, and wrapped in September of that year. Rose Leslie, who played Kirsten, became pregnant shortly before filming began, and by the time filming resumed, she was already in her 9th month of pregnancy.
