The Develioğlu family's future hinges on Cihan having a son, but his wife Beyza cannot bear a child. His mother Mukadder devises a plan: she asks Beyza to divorce Cihan, then approaches Hançer, a poor young woman with a family that won't cause trouble. Mukadder offers Hançer the chance to marry Cihan and give birth to a male heir. Hançer, who dreams of true love and a happy marriage, initially refuses. But when she learns her brother has a deadly illness, she feels forced to accept. Cihan and Hançer enter an arrangement that will change them both, as they navigate a situation built on necessity rather than affection.
