    Emma, a lively and precocious six-year-old girl, mysteriously disappears during a school outing in the forest. Camille, her mother, rushes to the scene of the disappearance. The teachers and gendarmes are worried, but soon Emma reappears. She is wearing the scarf of her teacher Jade, who has now vanished. Back home, under pressure from the gendarmes and the villagers, her parents cling to the image of a victim child, until new evidence makes Camille doubt.
