About the series
What it’s about
Mark Cobden begins a four-year sentence for manslaughter by negligence. The prison environment is alien to him, and his only relief comes from conversations with Eric McNally, a conscientious and humane prison officer. When one of the most dangerous inmates discovers Eric's vulnerability, Eric is forced into an impossible choice between his principles and his family's safety.
