About the series
What it’s about
After twenty years in prison, a man known as Stary is released with a simple plan: collect what he is owed from an old friend and head to the sea. The friend, now a respected businessman, stalls. Then Stary learns he has a grown daughter, Olya, who uses a wheelchair. Assigned a supervising officer, he is forced to live with her. He tries to be a father, pushing help and doing things 'by the rules', but Olya wants him gone. Their uneasy cohabitation becomes a struggle between his need to make amends and her refusal to accept him.
What hooks you
