About the series

What it’s about

Liv is hired by Pellocks supermarket after its boss Simon inadvertently offends the LGBTQ+ community with a marketing campaign. She soon realises she cannot be sacked and starts using the store as her own domain, causing chaos for everyone around her.

What hooks you

Nick Frost plays Simon, the boss who brings Liv on board, and Francesca Mills appears as Millie. The series was written by Jordan Gray, who also plays Liv.

Who it’s for

It is a good pick for those who like workplace comedies with a sharp edge, where a disruptive character upends the status quo. It will also appeal to viewers interested in transgender representation and satirical takes on corporate PR.
