What it’s about
In 1962, military man Leroy Hanlon moves to Derry, Maine, with his wife Charlotte and son Will for a secret assignment. The town is plagued by unexplained child disappearances. Will joins a group of school friends investigating the deaths, while the community's unease grows.

- When work on the project was just beginning, Bill Skarsgård, who played Pennywise in Andrés Muschietti's horror film "It," was not yet in the cast. Asked by a journalist in 2023 whether he would return to the role, the actor admitted he was not sure. A year later it was announced that Skarsgård would indeed play Pennywise.
