In South Korea, top medical graduates can serve their compulsory military duty as public-health doctors. Plastic surgeon Do Ji-ee is sent to Pyeondong-do, an isolated island that every doctor tries to leave. From his first day, ominous signs appear. He must last a full year there, but the island seems determined to break him.
