Gold Land

What it’s about

Kim Hee-ju screens passengers at an international airport. A bag of gold bars from a smuggling operation ends up in her hands, and she decides to take it for herself. The owners are not willing to let it go. She is caught in a whirlwind of greed and betrayal among various parties vying for the gold, and her desire to claim it all for herself grows. The gold is worth 60 billion won. She grew up in a very poor family and was called a chronic loser. She moved out and got a job at Gold Land, the first casino in Korea, built to revive a declining mining region. There she met a man and began a passionate romance. After she becomes involved in a mysterious attempted murder connected to gold of unknown origin, she must fight desperately to keep both the money and love.
