About the series
—
What it’s about
A Spanish diplomat falls to his death from the Águas Livres Aqueduct, and Lisbon's police are joined by a Spanish inspector. The investigation soon points to a serial killer whose methods echo those of Diego Alves, the notorious "Aqueduct Killer" of the 19th century. As the team closes in, the case turns personal, and the true threat proves closer than they imagined.
What hooks you
Artur Ribeiro directs a cast. The series draws on the real legend of Diego Alves, a figure from Lisbon's criminal past, and builds a contemporary thriller around that dark inheritance.
Who it’s for
It is worth a look for anyone who enjoys crime dramas where history bleeds into the present, and for those who like investigations that grow more unsettling with each clue.
