What it’s about

Successful financier Pyotr loses his job, and the household roles reverse: his wife Katya becomes the breadwinner while he stays home with the children. Domestic duties bore and humiliate him, and Katya’s mother-in-law stokes the conflict, accusing Katya of infidelity. The home turns into a battlefield, and Pyotr eventually leaves. Their children, Lyosha and Lena, struggle with the separation.
