About the series

What it’s about

Matvey is a good-natured but insecure young man carrying extra weight. He lives with his mother, who still babies him, and works at a big IT company with two other quiet geniuses. For a long time he has been in love with Sveta, a striking beauty from his office who considers him just a friend. When one clumsy attempt to get closer ends in rejection, Matvey decides he must change. At the gym he meets Yulya, a blunt, no-nonsense trainer who pushes for results and has no patience for self-deception. Matvey struggles to stay disciplined, and Yulya's own life starts to unravel. They make a deal: she becomes his personal trainer and nutritionist and moves in with him, much to his mother's chagrin.
