Stories from the set

The black-and-white photographs of the bodies of Lizzie Borden's parents (1860-1927) shown in the series are in fact genuine photographs taken at the crime scene.

Chronologically, the events described in the series take place between the trial and Lizzie and Emma's separation several years later.
