What it’s about

Fan Changyu, a butcher's daughter caring for her younger sister after their parents' death, finds a wounded man in a snowstorm and takes him home. The stranger turns out to be Xie Zheng, a fallen noble in hiding. Grateful for her help, he agrees to a marriage of convenience that benefits them both. Their arrangement draws them into political intrigue and conflict, and when war separates them, Changyu takes up her butcher's knife on the battlefield to seek justice and find her husband.
