What it’s about

Morfa Halen is a close community wedged between mountains and an encroaching sea. Jackie Ellis, once a detective and now a teacher, discovers the body of her eight-year-old pupil Cefin, apparently drowned. The tragedy stirs up the unsolved case of her niece Nessa, who vanished three years ago and cost Jackie her job. With a huge storm gathering offshore, Jackie teams up with her former partner, Detective Eric Bull, to find evidence before the weather wipes it away.
