What it’s about
Dan Stewer takes a job teaching philosophy to male prisoners. Weekly discussions on dominance, freedom and luck force the men to confront their crimes, while Dan begins to fear that his own path leads to prison. His father, uncle and brother have all been incarcerated, and the work stirs deep anxiety about what he might become.
