Stories from the set

Genndy Tartakovsky came up with the idea for the series while working on the final season of the series "Samurai Jack" (2001-2017). Initially it was assumed that this would be a project aimed more at a children's audience, and the character Spear would be a child. When Pixar Studios released the animated film "The Good Dinosaur" (Peter Sohn, 2015), Tartakovsky shelved the project for a long time and decided to finish "Samurai Jack" first.
