What it’s about

On New Year's Eve 1999, a down-on-his-luck pizza delivery boy in New York is tricked into a cryogenic lab and accidentally frozen. He thaws out on the last day of 2999, in a world of spaceships, robots, and alien species. Hoping to escape his dead-end life, he takes a job at Planet Express, an interplanetary delivery company run by his distant descendant, a 160-year-old scientist. There he works alongside a capable one-eyed captain and a hard-drinking, kleptomaniac robot, while trying to make sense of a future that is both wondrous and absurd.
