De qué trata

En 2029, la cibernética permite sustituir extremidades por piezas robóticas. La comandante Motoko Kusanagi, cíborg integral, idea una fuerza que ataca preventivamente amenazas emergentes. Daisuke Aramaki la recluta junto a su equipo como la Sección 9 de Seguridad Pública, el «Escuadrón Fantasma». Una conspiración internacional apunta a un hacker llamado el Titiritero.

La serie cuenta con Maaya Sakamoto como la comandante Kusanagi, Kazuhiro Yamaji como Daisuke Aramaki y Hiroki Yasumoto como Batou. Yuichi Nakamura pone voz a Togusa y Tomoko Kaneda a la Fuchikoma. Está basada en el manga de Masamune Shiro.
