In the episode where Benedict reviews the surveillance footage provided by the robbers, the screen showing the vault recording displays the numbers "... N 419". In the next frame, the screen of the same camera, still showing the robbers' footage, displays "... S 420".

Luke Wilson and Owen Wilson were supposed to play the brothers Virgil and Turk Malloy, but they were unable to film due to their involvement in The Royal Tenenbaums (2001). These roles were ultimately played by Casey Affleck and Scott Caan.
