About the film

What it’s about

Yuzu Shinonome feels overshadowed by her older sister, who is married to a demon. When she meets a beautiful ogre who declares she is his bride, her ordinary life takes a sharp turn.

What hooks you

Chihiro Ikeda directs this adaptation of a novel by Kureha. Ren Nagase plays Reiya Kiryuin, the ogre who claims Yuzu, and Ai Yoshikawa plays Yuzu. The cast also includes Kentaro Ito as Yota Kogetsu.
