Ren Nagase is a Japanese idol, singer, and actor. He is a member of the Japanese idol group King & Prince. Nagase joined the talent agency Johnny & Associates on April 3, 2011, beginning his activities as a Kansai Junior. In May 2018, he made his CD debut as part of King & Prince with the single "Cinderella Girl" and performed for the first time at the 69th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen. He made his acting debut in the TV series "Nobunaga no Chef" in 2013 and got his first leading role in the film "According to Our Butler" (2019).

In January 2021, he received the 44th Japan Academy Prize in the Best New Actor category for his leading role in the film "Yowamushi Pedal." In May of the same year, he made his first appearance in the NHK morning drama series (Asadora) "Okaeri Mone."

On September 15, 2023, he announced in his blog that he had graduated from the Faculty of Sociology at Meiji Gakuin University.
