What it’s about
Jordan Belfort starts as a New York stockbroker in 1987, just before the Dow Jones crash. After his investment bank collapses, he takes a job at a small firm selling penny stocks. His aggressive style and charisma bring quick success. He teams up with neighbor Donnie Azoff to found their own company, Stratton Oakmont, hiring friends and his father Max. The firm grows rich while Belfort parties hard, using drugs and prostitutes. An FBI agent begins investigating his rapid wealth.

- At the moment when Belfort's wife says that it was their last time, it is visible that the main character is lying down and undressed below the waist. But in the next moment, when the wife gets up from the bed, it is visible that Belfort is already lying in his pants.
- When Belfort wants to leave with his daughter, Naomi smashes the car window, and at that moment, on the cut between two takes, a ring disappears from Belfort's hand.
- In the scene where Teresa catches Belfort with Naomi, she finally manages to slam the limousine door on the second try, but in the next shot the door is again left open, and Teresa slams it once more, this time without sound.
