All 10Trivia
- The film was inspired by the photo book of the same name by journalist and civil rights activist Danny Lyon, published in 1968 and telling about the cult motorcycle club Outlaws Motorcycle Club or American Outlaws Association. To write this book, Lyon lived with club members for 4 years and even effectively became a full-fledged member of it.
- After finishing filming each movie, Tom Hardy (here he played Johnny) always takes something from the props as a keepsake. After finishing filming with Jeff Nichols, he took a motorcycle for himself.
- Filming ended in 2022, and the first trailers and posters appeared in 2023. The film sat on the shelf for more than a year, and all that time distribution issues were being sorted out. Initially it was a project of the film company 20th Century Fox, but Disney — the current owner of the film company — for some reason delayed the film's theatrical release. The picture was sold to various distributors in different countries, but they did not want to release it in theaters because of the many premieres planned for 2023, and the film was put on the shelf.
- During filming, Austin Butler (he played Benny) was almost injured. He was told to ride a motorcycle to the corner of the street, the wheel hit wet leaves, the motorcycle swerved, and Butler lost control. Luckily, he managed to jump off the wobbling motorcycle before it crashed into something.
