What it’s about
In an alternate Los Angeles, humans live alongside elves, orcs and other magical beings. Daryl Ward, a patrol officer, is paired with Nick Jakoby, an orc cop. Ward distrusts him after being shot during a previous call. On a new call, they find several bodies, signs of magic, an elf witness and a mysterious artifact. Now half the city is after them.
