About the film

Worst. Heroes. Ever.

What it’s about

A secret government program recruits incarcerated supervillains for dangerous black-ops missions in exchange for commuted sentences. Their first assignment sends them into a situation where survival is unlikely, forcing them to work together despite their violent natures.

What hooks you

David Ayer directs Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, and Jared Leto as The Joker. The film won an Oscar for Best Makeup and Hairstyling. Many cast members, including Smith and Robbie, got matching 'SKWAD' tattoos during production. Robbie was born two years before Harley Quinn first appeared in 'Batman: The Animated Series'.

Who it’s for

It is a good pick for those who enjoy action-packed superhero blockbusters with a twist of villainy, and for viewers who like darkly comedic adventures with a team of morally ambiguous characters.
