Stories from the set

The film is based on the biography of Edie Sedgwick.

Katie Holmes was the main contender for the role of Edie Sedgwick.

The film could have starred the married couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, as well as Lindsay Lohan, but for various reasons they dropped out of the project.

Hayden Christensen plays Bob Dylan, but due to disagreements between the filmmakers and Dylan himself, the name was changed to Billy Quinn, and in the credits he is listed only as Musician.

The scene featuring Sienna Miller and Hayden Christensen, in which Edie tells the musician about the deaths of her brothers, was improvised based on the actress's knowledge of details from her character's biography.
